PrincipalWorking Together to Prevent Dengue
We have been informed by NEA that amid the current COVID-19 situation, we have now entered the traditional peak dengue season and the high number of weekly dengue cases remains as a serious health concern. A collective national effort is critical to keep the dengue situation under control. We would like to update you on the some of the efforts that the school has taken to prevent dengue, and suggest ways of engaging your child/ward further in this. Please find the circular from the school as the attachment in this announcement.
Thank you.Home-based Learning (HBL) Plan (Term 3: Week 1 - Week 4) for P1-P3
Attached is the letter with regard to Home-based Learning Plan for Week 1 to 4. All instructions and support for your child/ward to access a range of both online and offline HBL resources are included in the letter. They are also required to complete a survey ‘Back to School! How Are You?’ posted on SLS on the First Day of School, Tuesday, 2 June. It is to get a sensing of their social-emotional needs, social support network and well-being. All information on home-based learning is also available in our school website. Thank you.[Parent Kit] Transitioning Back to School – It’s a New Normal for Us All
With the end of the Circuit Breaker on 1 Jun 2020, we enter the phase of safe opening. 2 Jun 2020 marks the beginning of a brand new school term. This new term with new arrangements and routines will be a new normal for all of us. We hope that this issue of Parent Kit will help you to understand Back to School arrangements better and how you can guide your children to adjust back to school. We also ask for your support to keep our school and children safe, as you have done before the start of Full HBL. Pages 7 to 10 of the Parent Kit provides information on how you can do so. In Xishan Primary School, we are working behind the scenes to prepare our school to ensure the safety our students so that learning can continue when school re-opens. We look forward to welcoming our students back in school!
