In Xishan Primary School, we envision every Xishanite as a proficient and confident digital learner, a self-directed and responsible user. We aim to create meaningful ICT-enhanced learning experiences while fostering cyber wellness and nurturing critical, adaptive, and inventive thinking in the digital age.
Supporting the EdTech Masterplan 2030
Our school is committed to advancing Singapore’s EdTech Masterplan 2030, which aims to transform learning through technology and innovation.
Digital competencies
Under the EdTech Masterplan 2030, the “Find, Think, Apply, Create” framework is further unpacked into 9 digital competencies to support deepening of digital literacy in schools.

In Xishan Primary School, we have tiered programme from Primary 1 to Primary 6 to help our Xishanites to be confident digital users.
Primary 1 – Touch typing skills
Primary 2 - Word Processing
Primary 3 – Microsoft Excel (Creation of Bar Graphs)
Primary 4 – Microsoft Excel (Creation of Bar Graphs, Line Graphs and Pie Charts)
Primary 5 – National Digital Explorer
Primary 6 – Collaboration on Slideshow Creation

Other than focusing on Digital Literacy and Technological Skills, our school also focuses on guiding students to develop Human Centred Design Thinking via our Tinkering Programme.
Primary 1,2– Collaboration with PAL on the use of Scratch Junior
Primary 3,4,5 – Collaboration with Science on the use of Microbit
Primary 6 – IMDA’s Code for Fun and AI For Fun
