P1 Registration Information

In view of the COVID-19 situation, there will not be any in-person registration at schools for the upcoming P1 2020 exercise. Parents/Guardians will be required to register their children online.

For children who are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
Born between 2 January 2014 and 1 January 2015 (both dates inclusive).
Singapore Citizens (SCs) will be given absolute priority over Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs) when balloting is necessary in a specific phase. SCs and PRs will continue to be eligible for the same phases, and all applicants will be admitted if the total number of applications in any phase does not exceed the number of vacancies. However, if the number of applications exceeds the number of vacancies in a specific phase, SCs will be admitted first ahead of PRs, before home-school distance is considered.

If a child is assessed as not ready or not suitable for P1 on medical grounds, parent may seek approval from the Compulsory Education Unit for deferment of registration. Application can be made using the relevant form available on the MOE website at https://www.moe.gov.sg/education/education-system/compulsory-education/deferment. PHASE 1 For a child who has a sibling studying in the primary school of choice	Registration 1 Jul 2020 (Wed) 2 Jul 2020 (Thu) Announcement of Result 6 Jul 2020 (Mon) thru. SMS All children registered under this phase will be given places in the school.
Registration Procedures
If you have a child/ward who is to be registered for 2021 Primary One and you intend to register him/her in Xishan Primary School, please confirm it with the Form Teacher of your child/ward who will be contacting you by 22 May 2020 (Friday). Parents/Guardians are required to submit Phase 1 Application Form (you may download from this link) together with the scanned copy or photo of the necessary supporting documents, via email to school by 29 May 2020 (Friday). For details, please refer to 072_End of Term 2 Letter to Parents dated 27 Apr 2020.

Registration Procedures for Phases 2A(1), 2A(2) and 2B
Parent/Guardian need to complete an online form using your SingPass during the registration periods of the respective phases. The link to the online form and user guide will be available on MOE P1 Registration Website and registration of SingPass here.

Registration Procedures for Phases 2C and 2C Supplementary
Parent/Guardian need to register via the Primary One Internet System (P1-IS) using your SingPass during the registration periods of the respective phases.If you are unable to use the P1-IS, you will need to complete an online form using your SingPass.
